Violinist Lucinda Chiu, born in Hong Kong, is a senior at Peabody Conservatory. She has served as associate concertmaster and assistant principal of both Peabody Concert and Symphony Orchestras from 2012 to 2015. As part of the Centre Street Quartet, Lucinda was selected as one of the Honors Chamber Ensembles at Peabody for two years. They were also one of six quartets selected to study with the Juilliard String Quartet at the 2013 Juilliard String Quartet Seminar. Lucinda had her debut performance with CSQ at the Schubert Club Courtroom Concert Series in Saint Paul, Minneapolis, as the 2013 Artist Residency String Quartet of Madeline Island Music Camp. Next year, Lucinda will begin her Masters of Music degree at Rice University with violinist Cho-Liang Lin.
